The Kite Flyers · Brand Health Dashboard

Every screen in Scope 1, explained

Your team enters the month's numbers. The dashboard turns them into one Brand Health Score out of 100, shows what moved and why, and keeps a record of every change. Here is each screen and what it does.

How a month works

Every screen supports one simple cycle that repeats each month.

1

Enter the numbers

Owner or Contributor

Type each KPI's value for the month into one grid, with a comment or evidence link where useful.

2

The score is calculated

Automatic

Each KPI is measured against its target, rolled up into pillars, and combined into the score out of 100.

3

Review the picture

Owner

Read the dashboard, open a pillar, then a single KPI to see its trend and where it is heading.

4

Act and share

Owner

Handle unusual spikes, adjust targets for the months ahead, lock the month and download a report.

…and next month, the same cycle starts again.

What the score is made of

29 KPIs grouped into 5 pillars. The pillar weights add up to 100, and the Owner can adjust them.

Two kinds of KPI: growth KPIs are measured against last month (for example, +10% subscribers), and count KPIs are measured against a monthly number (for example, 1 podcast episode).

Who uses it

Everyone signs in with their own email and password. There are two roles, and the brand always keeps at least one Owner.

Owner

Ratiesh

  • Sees the overall Brand Health Score
  • Enters and edits monthly numbers
  • Sets up KPIs, weights and targets
  • Reviews spikes, reads the change log, downloads reports
  • Adds team members and manages brand settings

Contributor

Ashutosh, Himani

  • Enters the monthly numbers
  • Sees every pillar and every KPI, including their full history
  • Does not see the overall Brand Health Score
  • Cannot change setup, targets, users or settings

You can't change your own role. Only an Owner can, from the Users screen.

Seeing how the brand is doing

From the headline score down to a single KPI.

Executive Dashboard

Owner

The month at a glance.

  • Brand Health Score out of 100
  • Each pillar's share of the score
  • Every KPI's result, with a reason when one isn't scored yet
  • Lock the month once it's final

Shows "27 of 29 KPIs scored" when some KPIs need another month of data. The score is never stretched to fill the gap.

Pillar Detail

OwnerContributor, view

One screen for each of the 5 pillars.

  • Every KPI in the pillar
  • Its value, target and achievement
  • A trend for each KPI

A KPI with no value shows a dash, never a zero.

KPI Drill-down

OwnerContributor, view

The full story of one KPI.

  • Actual results month by month (solid line)
  • The target (grey line)
  • A forecast if the current pace holds (dashed line)

The forecast appears after two months of data. It is a guide only and never changes the score.

Entering the numbers

The one screen the whole team uses every month.

Monthly Data Entry

OwnerContributor

A grid of all 29 KPIs, grouped by pillar. Pick the month, type in the values, save.

  • Add a comment or evidence link to any value
  • Edit a value later if it was wrong
  • Records who entered each number

A blank box stays blank; it is not counted as zero. Clearing a box removes that value. If a save fails, everything you typed stays on screen.

Integrations

OwnerFinal stage

Connect YouTube and Instagram so their KPIs fill in by themselves each month.

  • Connect or reconnect each account
  • See when each last updated
  • A clear warning when a connection has trouble

Built last, because Instagram access needs Meta's approval (2–4 weeks, outside our control). Until then, these KPIs are entered by hand.

Setting up the scorecard

Owner-only controls that shape how the score is worked out.

Scorecard Setup

Owner

Decide how much each KPI counts.

  • Adjust KPI weights, with a live total
  • Switch a KPI on or off
  • Choose the month the change starts

Can't be saved unless the active weights add up to exactly 100.

Targets

Owner

Set what "good" looks like for each KPI: a growth % or a monthly count.

  • Edit any KPI's target
  • Choose the month the new target starts

Changes apply from the chosen month onward. Past months, and any month already locked, keep the targets they had.

Spike Review

Owner

Handle one-off jumps, like a post going viral, so they don't distort the trend.

  • Choose how sensitive detection is: low, medium or high
  • Pick a fix: use last month, a 3-month average or the best of 3, with a preview
  • Apply, replace or remove a fix

A fix only adjusts the starting point for the following month. The number that was entered is never changed.

Records and reports

What changed, and a copy to share.

Not available for this role

Change Log

Owner

A running record of setup changes.

  • Who changed a weight, target, KPI status or spike fix, and when
  • The old value, the new value and the month it takes effect

Only the KPIs that actually changed are listed, one line each.

Reports

Owner

Download a month's report to share.

  • Pick a month, then create a PDF or Excel file
  • See past reports and download them again
  • Each report shows whether it's ready

Report numbers always match the dashboard exactly, because both come from the same calculation.

Team and brand

Who has access, and how the brand is named.

Not available for this role

Users

Owner

Manage the team's access.

  • Add a team member with their own login
  • Make someone an Owner or a Contributor
  • Deactivate someone who has left

The last remaining Owner can't be removed or downgraded, so the brand is never locked out.

Settings

Owner

The brand's details.

  • Change the brand name shown across the app

The brand's account details are shown for reference and can't be edited here.

Rules that hold on every screen

These keep the score honest and trustworthy month after month.

The past stays as it was

Changing a weight or target never rewrites earlier months, so your trend line always reflects what was true at the time.

Blank is not zero

A missing number sits out of the score instead of dragging it down, and the dashboard says how many KPIs were scored.

One set of numbers

The dashboard, pillar pages, drill-downs and reports all use the same calculation, so they always agree.

Locked months

Once the Owner locks a month, a snapshot of its score and the numbers behind it is saved and can't be overwritten.

Every setup change is recorded

Weight, target, KPI and spike changes are logged with who made them and when.

Access is checked every time

What each role can see and do is checked on the server, not just hidden in the menu.
